During Game 2 of the Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans series, Devin Booker made a fancy little move along the baseline. Then he stepped back and knocked down a jumper at the buzzer. But the best part of the play came after the bucket. A fan stuck out his baby (more specifically, the baby’s fist) to Booker in an offering of celebration. Booker smoothly dapped the baby’s hand, remaining stoic the entire time. It was a delightful scene. But it’s hardly the first time a player has interacted with someone sitting courtside. Shaquille O’Neal clears the bench The Big Aristotle spent the prime of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, but toward the end, he started bouncing around a bit more. One of those stops was in Phoenix. And even though the great Shaqtus’s best days were behind him, he still gave his all on the court. Unfortunately, that posed a risk to the Suns’ bench. In the span of a week, Shaq caused not one, but two moments of terror for his fellow teammates.
